The first solution was used by ProStrakan during the PSK3841 trials. Unfortunately, it had some issues concerning safety and efficacy, and ProStrakan decided to end the research and development. Kraemer & Bohn's 5% solution is an improved version of ProStrakan's 5% solution, and according to the patent, the issues have been solved.
Recommended dose: 50 mg/ml a day.
Preparation
RU58841 is a white powder, and it smells like paint. The powder should be fine, and completely dry. Never make a solution without measuring the amount of drug. I recommend a digital scale with at least 0.005g accuracy. Precision scales are very sensitive, so don't buy a used one. Prepare the solution in the bathroom, near the sink. Avoid inhaling the chemicals. Clean the area, and your hands thoroughly afterwards. I recommend that you make enough solution for one month at a time. The mixing percentages are based on the total weight of the vehicle. Say you want to make 100 grams of ProStrakan's solution that consists of 66.5% ethanol, 28.5% demineralized water and 5% RU58841. The first thing you need to do is figure out the density of the chemicals. Ethanol's density is 0.789 g/cm3, and demineralized water's density is 1 g/cm3 (cm3 = ml). The total weight of the vehicle will be 95 grams; 66.5 grams ethanol and 28.5 grams demineralized water. To calculate how many ml you're going to use, simply divide the grams of each chemical by its density. Example: 66.5 grams ethanol : 0.789 g/cm3 = 84.28 ml ethanol. 28.5 grams demineralized water : 1 g/cm3 = 28.5 ml demineralized water. That's a total of 112.78 ml, and enough solution for more than 3 months - if you're using the recommended dose. Measure 30 ml with a measuring cylinder, transfer it to a pipette bottle, and add 1330 mg RU58841 (5000 mg RU58841 : 112.78 ml = 44.33 mg RU58841 per ml) once a month. Let it dissolve completely before using the solution.
How to use
You should do a blood test to map some hormone values before starting this treatment, as the drug may disturb your endocrine system and damage your liver. I believe it's unlikely that anyone will experience this, but you don't want to take any chances. Check all the liver values, and be sure to map LH, FSH, testosterone, estradiol, prolactin and SHBG. Schedule a new blood test when you've been using this treatment for a month, to see if anything has changed. Apply the solution once a day, preferably before bed. Kraemer & Bohn's 5% solution should be left on the scalp for at least 7 hours! Avoid sweating. Wash your hair every morning.
RU58841 is an anti-androgen, so be careful around women with it. Anti-androgens are known to cause serious birth defects in a male fetus!
What to expect
You should see a significant increase in hair thickness within a month! 6 - 12 months are probably needed for full benefit.
You have to keep using this solution for as long as you want to maintain your hair.
Storage
The expiration date on RU58841 powder is 2 years from the date it was produced. The powder should be stored in the freezer, but it's stable in room temperature for 6 months. Store the RU58841 solution in room temperature!
